Sen. Susan Collins likes those troop surgers! (flip flop)
Posted by kayinmaine on January 29, 2007
Oh, okay. She says she doesn’t want to send any more troops to Iraq and says it’s because it hasn’t worked before. So why is she now on the exploratory committee for John McCain (McCave, I should say) who is ‘Mr. Troop Surge Extraordinaire’? Oh that’s right! Susan has no idea what she believes.
Snowe, Collins to head Maine exploratory committee for McCain
PORTLAND, Maine –U.S. Sen. John McCain’s presidential exploratory committee announced Monday that U.S. Sens. Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins have been named to serve as co-chairs for McCain’s presidential exploratory committee in Maine.
State Rep. Josh Tardy of Newport, the House Republican leader, will serve as vice chairman of the committee.
Snowe in a statement said McCain, considered one of the front-runners for the 2008 Republican nomination, has a proven track record to address the nation’s challenges.
Collins said McCain’s experience on both domestic and foreign policy issues is “unparalleled.”
“I can think of no better person to lead our nation than John McCain,” Collins said.

Exactly Chris. When did she lose her way? Oh that’s right, when George Bush came along. She does not have my vote in 2008!

O/T
Good morning Kay. I’m sorry about our disagreement last night, especially in the public forum. Your dedication is truly impressive and you must have a lot of energy to organize this blog and contribute to Ablog while raising a 12 year old.
I don’t take on the trolls, and greatful when someone does. I’m happy to argue a legitimate disagreement.
All the best.

Erin,
Thanks so much for saying something. Honestly, I was going after “Erica” last night and then when you and others were going after me and standing up for the troll, it felt like (you’re a psychologist so you’ll know what I mean) the “girls in the group” backstabbing one of their own to make themselves feel better. I was taken aback by it all. I wasn’t angry, but I did question what the intentions of others were.
Yes, it is a lot to do what I’m doing but I feel every day it’s worth it. I’m reaching a few people and that’s all that matters.
I apologize to you too. I am very strong willed and outspoken. Sometimes I need to rein myself in!

Hi ya……guess I’ve not missed too much. Sorry ’bout your troll. ; (
FYI, I’m not sure why, but everytime I attempt to get into a WP page, my ‘puter hangs. ; (
That anyone would even think of voting/supporting him is quite a surprise to me. On C&L someone mentioned a video with all his waffling. What these guys continue to do, especially with all the video/audio these days.
Cheers!

Thanks for pointing out the WP blooper. Not sure what to tell you Coffee Messiah. I know that I’m having a hard time going onto the Blogger blogs because I don’t know what Blogger username/password to use that shows this blog instead of my old one. I’ve created two accounts and it still shows the old blog. Darn it!
Thanks for coming by! I love your blog and visit it often.
