Here’s Jenna Bush-Hagar standing with her plastic mannequin family on her wedding day.
Is it just me or do they all look very uncomfortable in this picture? Is Barbara posing because she thinks she’s the latest uber Super Model of the century or maybe she’s trying to outdo her sister? Could be. And what the hell is going on with Laura? She’s staring at a bird for crying out loud (or maybe she’s loaded on Xanax)! And then there’s the WORST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF AMERICA looking like he’s just realizing he’s at a wedding for the first time all day!
*shaking head*
Well, I hope Jenna & Henry have a long good life. They probably will be the only ones who will thanks to those they’re connected to. And whose idea was it to erect a giant stone cross again? Fire that person, Jenna. So tacky!

Here are some pictures from our CBS affiliate. The pastor who officiated is Rev. Kirbyjon Caldwell of Houston’s Windsor Village Methodist Church. He is a Bush favorite but I have read the pastor is endorsing Barack Obama (but then maybe Jenna is also).

Grant, I’m not surprised Jenna is leaning towards Obama and the fact her pastor is too! After twenty eight years of Bushes and Clintons being in office, everyone is tired and we want REAL change.

However, Jenna’s new hubby works for Karl Rove. Thankfully we have a secret ballot but I don’t expect the more independent-minded Jenna to deviate too far from the Republican party and vote for a Democrat. However, I wonder just how much love the Bush clan really holds for John McCain who has sometimes been a thorn in their side and vice-versa.
I do respect that Jenna invited many of her school friends and peers. She didn’t want it to be just another party for the Republican “old folks” and her parent’s friends, but to include many from her own generation. That’s probably a reason she didn’t want a big White House blow-out. However Karl Rove was in attendance, but then young Hager is an employee. Maybe Karl was the “wedding-planner” since he has planned so much of Bush world. Seems some souvenirs being hawked in Crawford had misspelled the last name to Hagar, like the rocker Sammy.

Conservative Baptist Furman University in South Carolina has invited Bush to speak at their commencement this month. So far, 222 faculty and students have signed a petition protesting his appearance on campus!
