U.S. Sen. Susan Collins is in line with Congresswoman Michele Bachmann statement against liberals, but is against McCain robo-calling in Maine

Posted by kayinmaine on October 18, 2008

Sen. Susan Collins of Maine has issued a statement that she does not agree with the McCain campaign with the robo-calling they’ve been doing here spreading anti-Obama messages. Oh, but she does in her own little way agree with Congresswoman Michele Bachmann’s comments that liberals in Congress should be investigated in a Hitler-like fascism fashion. She would deny this though because right now Suzie-Q is hoping Mainers really do believe TOM ALLEN IS A MAFIA MOB BOSS!

(anyone who is against Unions in this country but are for sending American jobs overseas to people who don’t speak English are the REAL AMERICA-HATERS! Right, Suzie?)

Sen. Susan Collins wants you to believe that she would never stoop to robo-calling, because really, in her mind she believes she is a moderate and is better than this kind of thing, but yet, she’s done attack ad after attack ad against Tom Allen for months now and when Allen does an ad pointing out the truth of Collins’ voting record, Collins cries fowl! Spit. Can’t be a moderate when you’ve been voting for George Bush’s economic & foreign/domestic policies 55-80% of the time over the past 8 years! Oh, but apparently this is illegal to point out according to the Collins Mafia in Maine!

Interesting, because for the past 8 years Sen. Susan Collins has EMBRACED GEORGE BUSHITLER’S POLICIES and never spoke out when Americans were locked in cages 2 miles from where George Bush was standing giving a speech (and it’s still happening too!). Collins never once said it was anti-American to spy on American’s phone calls well before 9/11/01 as George did, and she never said it was anti-American to FIRE PEOPLE FROM THEIR JOBS FOR SPEAKING OUT AGAINST GEORGE BUSH. And what about recently when I spoke my mind on my blog about her affair with a married man in Tennessee whose wife had Alzheimer’s? Huh? Was it okay for her anti-American staff to redirect the link to that post in 2 different “Susan Collins Google Alerts” within 12-24 hours of it being posted, loading one of the links with a TROJAN that ended up infecting my computer, making it inoperable, and completely crashed my hard drive? Huh? SEN. SUSAN COLLINS IS ANTI-AMERICAN AND IS IN LINE WITH MICHELLE BACHMANN WHETHER SHE WANTS TO ADMIT IT OR NOT!

Susan Collins “always” tells the truth! She’s swears! Girl Scouts honor! Oh wait….

(picture)

(that must be a secret code used only by Collins Mafia personnel? Huh. Could be)

And let’s not forget how Collins’ Mafia underling, Lance Dutson, went after those ‘foul-mouthed fem bloggers’ and how he strong armed Google for not allowing him to use Moveon.org’s name in attack ads on his website to attack Moveon.org!

Moveon.org & Google ended up backing down, but that’s because they were up against the Collins Mafia of Maine! That’s right. It could have gotten real ugly. I wonder how many funerals would have come out of it? Huh. We’ll never know now.

I’m telling ya….THE WHOLE ENTIRE COLLINS CAMPAIGN HERE IN MAINE IS ANTI-AMERICAN! No free speech for anyone unless you’re in their Mafia Family! See? This attitude hasn’t changed since 1996 either. Trust me on this. Collins will play dirty, smile to herself, but will then hold a press conference to try to get everyone to feel sorry for her, because apparently she’s the victim in all of this! Oh please. What an ass.

Kathy Crowley just remarked on CNN that Sen. Collins is a Republican who is opposing the robocalls.

Just listening to McCain LIVE in North Carolina. It’s all about “Joe the Plumber” and McCain is really playing up Obama’s remark about “spreading the wealth” ALL BUT CALLING OBAMA A COMMUNIST. He makes all kinds of references to “other countries” (including Cuba now as he emphasized in Florida yesterday) that take from the rich and give to the poor.

It would be too damned bad if Cindy’s $100 MILLION would be spread around to folks losing their homes while she has the problem to decide WHICH home of hers they will go to next to spend a few days.

Sen. Susan Collins is okay with fascism of the last 8 years, Grant. Yep, wrapping herself in the US flag to prove her patriotism, having no problem with George Bush saying it was gawd who told him to attack Iraq, illegally invading countries & occupying it, stealing large amounts of money by Halliburton without her doing oversight, propping up the rich and devouring the poor, and just when she could have turned her back on all of this, she says it’s ‘illegal’ to go after anyone who supports Bush/Cheney’s fascism! Oh yes! Apparently, you’re a traitor if you use any right brought to you by our country’s Forefathers!

Sen. Susan Collins also supports the anti-America/pro-Alaska-seceding-from-the-nation Sarah Palin too!

SENATOR SUSAN COLLINS’ STATEMENT ON JOHN McCAIN’S VICE-PRESIDENTIAL SELECTION

PORTLAND, Maine– U.S. Senator Susan Collins, who is in Blue Hill today continuing her statewide bus tour, released this statement following the announcement that Senator John McCain has chosen Alaska Governor Sarah Palin as his candidate for Vice President.

“As evidenced by her speech in Ohio today, Governor Palin will bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm to the ticket and to John McCain’s administration. As Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin has proven to be a real leader. As a woman, a wife, and a mother, she would bring a unique perspective to the office. I am not surprised that, for his choice, John McCain looked outside of Washington for an executive with a proven record of challenging the status quo.”

Isn’t it nice to know Sen. Suzie-Q supports the ‘rational Americans of the American Taliban’? Spit.

Awwwww, how cute. The American Taliban is trying to steal the election against Barack Obama in West Virginia:

And the right wingers are worried about Acorn? Bah hahahahahahahaha! Oh how funny! But then again, the American Taliban doesn’t want the black/mulatto man to win. Bunch of racists!

Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and Greg Palast are worried about voter disenfranchisement again this year……

Suppressing the vote has long been a cornerstone of the GOP’s electoral strategy. Shortly before the election of Ronald Reagan in 1980, Paul Weyrich — a principal architect of today’s Republican Party — scolded evangelicals who believed in democracy. “Many of our Christians have what I call the ‘goo goo’ syndrome — good government,” said Weyrich, who co-founded Moral Majority with Jerry Falwell. “They want everybody to vote. I don’t want everybody to vote. . . . As a matter of fact, our leverage in the elections quite candidly goes up as the voting populace goes down.”

Today, Weyrich’s vision has become a national reality. Since 2003, according to the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, at least 2.7 million new voters have had their applications to register rejected. In addition, at least 1.6 million votes were never counted in the 2004 election — and the commission’s own data suggests that the real number could be twice as high. To purge registration rolls and discard ballots, partisan election officials used a wide range of pretexts, from “unreadability” to changes in a voter’s signature. And this year, thanks to new provisions of the Help America Vote Act, the number of discounted votes could surge even higher.

Yep, the republics can’t run on their morals & values, because if they did, they’d be ranting like Michelle Bachmann, so instead, they steal elections!

Gawd I hate this party with every ounce of my being. I’m so sick of their underhandedness when it comes to our democratic republic and how it works.

Obama just brought out a crowd of 100,000 in Missouri today besides receiving the endorsements of the state’s two largest newspapers, the Kansas City Star and St. Louis Post-Dispatch. This is not a tide for Obama, but a tsunami in a “so-called” swing state that had been McCain’s. Picture at:

It’s not only “domestic terrorist” G. Gordon Liddy with whom McCain “pals around” with, but he had a long-time relationship with David Ifshin for whom he even gave a eulogy at his funeral. Ifshin was a ’60’s anti-war “radical”, one of whom went to Hanoi to make speeches condemning American pilots who bombed and killed an untold number, possibly hundreds of thousands, of Vietnamese innocent civilians. McCain at the same time was in the Hanoi prison. However, BOTH forgave each other later in life and McCain promised not to disrespect those from the Vietnam era who held other beliefs about that war….BUT that was before McCain began to see his chance to become president began to slip away!

Michelle Bachman, like Palin, is a religious wacko. You see “God” selected her to run for Congress and made her win (at least the last time!).

She calls herself a “fool for Christ”:

  13. Grant in Texas said

Once again the Atwater-Rovian-Schmidt Republicans are mounting a campaign of FEAR. The following is from Huffington Post:

Being driven by fear forces McCain/Palin to run a campaign based on fear. Their goal is not to convince people that they have a better plan for the future, but to make people scared to vote for the other guy.

There are a lot of things people are scared about right now:

•They’re scared about losing their homes.
•They’re scared about losing their jobs.
•They’re scared the Republicans are going to steal the election. In fact, we’ve heard several people say that they’re praying for a landslide, because otherwise the Republicans will find some way to steal it. If you think that’s slightly paranoid, you’re probably not a Democrat.

McCain/Palin want us to forget about our real fears and focus on something unreal. McCain/Palin want us to be scared about what they want us to be scared about. They have an advantage, because the things they want us to be scared about are a lot more fun than the things we’re really scared about:

•McCain/Palin want us to be scared that Obama is “the other,”
not like us, not a real American.
•They want us to be scared that Obama might secretly worship another god.
•They want us to be scared that Obama pals around with terrorists and gets his spiritual counsel from an America-hating minister.

It’s more fun to be scared about those things because it gives you the opportunity to blame somebody else for the fear. When you point the finger at someone else, it relieves the pressure inside you. If we’re scared about those things, maybe we’ll forget about what we’re really scared about. McCain/Palin are saying: it’s a jungle out there, folks, and let’s make sure we keep it that way.

Wonder if the bookies are doing anything with Collins / Allen? Allen might win just by virtue of Mainers being so fed up..they vote straight ticket. He is a lot better than Collins but then who isn’t.

Chris Achorn must be happy….Glenn Beck is leaving CNN!

Glen Beck comments on Joe the Plumber and gives his “enlightened”
analysis of our economy (Glenn never went to college but he can read
his daily talking points from the RNC).

According to Matt Drudge, Beck just gave notice he is leaving CNN to go to Fox at the beginning of the new year! Now if
only they would dump the racist xenophobe, Lou Dobbs. Dobbs this
weekend was railing on ACORN, calling it a “left-wing activist group with ties to Senator Obama!” Omigod, letting the blackies and Meskins vote! How unAmerican!

    I gave $25.00 yesterday.

If you want to give Elwyn $5, $10, $15, $25, or whatever you can afford (one guy online I read gave Elwyn $250!), you can do it here:

McSame is now on Fox News with Chris Wallace talking about “Joe the
Plumber” but mostly making veiled charges that Obama’s huge cache of campaign funds are not exactly on the up and up, dropping remarks about Watergate, “corruption” that comes from big money, etc.

Calling Obama’s “spreading the wealth” is one of the tenets of SOCIALISM! Obama is the MOST LIBERAL of all senators, espouses “LEFT WING” philosophies.

McCain calls the ROBO-CALLS “absolutely true”! Says they are not the same as the “personal” robocalls used against him in 2000, that the robo-calls out there now are accurate and nobody can make a comparison with the calls now with those used against him by Bush.

“Joe the Plumber” was on Mike Huckabee’s Fox News last night and will be repeated twice today. Chris Wallace is being tough on McCain.

What John McCrazy is refusing to admit is that most of Barack’s supporters are giving $5 or $10 here and there and this is why he’s able to attrack NEW VOTERS BY THE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS EACH MONTH!

Way to go Barack in making this year’s election a way for the average person to have a voice!

All the big donors have already given to McCrazy, so they can’t give anymore. The Base of the Republic Party isn’t giving money to McCrazy no matter how many Palins he puts on the ticket!

Being on two pensions, I only gave $25 to Wesley Clark in 2004. This year I have already given $150 to Sen. Obama. McCain can make all of the innuendos about “corrupt money” he wants to but the truth is millions of Americans, many like me with limited means, are giving to the Obama campaign as we feel this is a most crucial election, probably the most crucial in my lifetime and I have been voting since 1960.

BTW. Just got my quarterly 401(k) statement and I have lost 43% from my former “high” number. So instead of becoming depressed, booked a cruise yesterday to Roatan, Honduras in early March which will follow my two week Australia/New Zealand cruise in January. I will be damned if I cannot enjoy my life savings before Wall Street snatches it all up.

  22. kayinmaine said

Grant, 43%? Holy crap! Well, I don’t blame ya for wanting to go on a trip. What the hell, right?

  23. Grant in Texas said

My 43% loss on my 401(k) is a lot better than the 2/3 loss in my stock portfolio since G. W. Bush took over 8 years ago. My portfolio losses upset me in that most of it was from my inheritance from my parents and being members of the Class of ’32, they never trusted the stock markets and then I lost years of their hard-earned savings in the stock market. My dad was a blue-collar (more like a white T-shirt) trucker but he left $324K in bank CD’s when he died as he only trusted them due to the FDIC protections. He was happy and secure getting his 3-5% interest every year which he left in to rollover, but in a lifetime built up a modest nest egg for my mother. Her stage IV cancers grew quickly so she didn’t have to dip into their savings as she refused therapies and went directly into hospice care. I have felt so much guilt since but it seemed all of my friends were “getting rich” in the markets during the Clinton years and I thought, “why not?”

I have to start taking my money out in 2010 (age 70 1/2) so will just let it lie there in hopes the market will turn around. Anyway cashing out now would mean paying early surrender fees.
