Glenn Beck is okay with militias in America but is scared of Bill Ayers

This morning on the way to work my ears were bleeding as I listened to the Glenn Beck radio program. He was talking about the Fairness Doctrine and how awful it would be to have liberals on every program to counterbalance his asinine bullshit. Poor thing. Anyways, he went on and on and on about how the Fairness Doctrine was not really fair and he started on this diatribe of fear by basically saying that the liberals were gonna take over the airwaves, our rights as U.S. citizens, and the universe if Barack Obama gets in. Oh the fear was raging this morning!

Then it happened.

A listener called in and asked Glenn Beck point blank if it’s time to start militias in this country to defend our rights as U.S. citizens, because…well…he was getting scared of all the Fairness Doctrine talk. Glenn wasn’t taken aback by this concept of militias, as much as he was of the caller who was giving A REASON for the liberals to go after shows like Beck’s in the future, because it’s that kind of talk (the talk of rising up militarily against the US government by US citizens) that would get Beck’s program and others pulled off the air.

Glenn decided to talk about militias and then talked about how scary it would be if our guns were taken away from us and how the liberals will actively work to do this (what a joke….we just want some regulation, morons! Spit). Oh yes…Glenn sat there in front of his microphone today just spewing the right wing forked tongue bullshit to get his listeners so scared that they all started calling each other to form a militia right then and there!

Militias are good. Ayers is bad, apparently…

Oh, but Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, John McCain, and other neocons have spouted for weeks now about how dangerous Bill Ayers is! Yeah, you know, the Bill Ayers who with others blew up the same statute twice, who tried to blow up the Pentagon (sorry Glenn, but the Pentagon is a small city unto itself…not gonna happen…even a missile on 9/11 couldn’t take the whole thing down!), the Congress (again, kind of laughable compared to a militia), and the only THREE PEOPLE WHO DIED AS A RESULT OF BILL AYERS’ BOMBS…..WERE 3 MEMBERS OF THE WEATHERMEN!

Okay, let me see if I have this straight…the neocons are deathly afraid of Bill Ayers (even today after 40 years), but have no problem casually talking about forming American citizen militias to rise up against the American government within our country’s borders and to also start killing American citizens who are of the opposite political ideology as yourself?

Wow. And to think Bill Ayers was the son of a wealthy industrialist who was pissed off at our pompous government during the Vietnam war, because our government was killing people in a foreign land and not listening to the American people who wanted this crazy occupation and the killings to stop!

Glenn Beck can incite violence or form militias to overthrow our government, because he has a national radio program to do it. He reaches more people than Bill Ayers did, who didn’t have a radio program or a television program. Nope. Ayers just had some friends who felt the same way he did.

Al-Qaida backs John McCain for the presidency

Al-Qaida annouced today that John McCain is supported for the presidency by this group.

And so did the KKK. Apparently, THIS IS THE VIDEO. Anyone think this might be just another CIA created video to fool the masses? Or is it very possible, John McCain, who/is was part of the Project for the New American Century, really is the guy The Base of the Bush Family & Friends, Inc. and the KKK want? You decide.

And then there was that GOP Congressman who was helping al-Qaida/da terrorists….

I’m sorry, but this whole thing is laugh-out-loud funny, because it seems to me al-Qaida is really just The Base and the voice of the Bush Regime/Family/Friends to tell Americans what it is that they want. In other words, they’re duping us again. And they’ve created a website. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, how cute.

First off, doesn’t it seem a little weird to you that these al-Qaida sites are password protected? You’d think al-Qaida would want the whole world to read what they’re saying, because according to George Bush, al-Qaida wants Muslims to take over the world, so wouldn’t it make sense to not having a password protected site? Seems a little…..shall I say….strange & weird? I mean, really, if George Bush wants the world to know something, he doesn’t go down in the basement of the White House and into a closet to scream it, now does he? Having a password protected site means only those who have been invited to participate and who have been given the password can enter the site to participate in it.

Oh boy.

And isn’t it weird that most of the al-Qaida sites have been shut down since 9/11, but the one that remains online and active is a site called, ‘al-Hesbah’, which “might” be run/overseen by the Saudi government to get jihadists by fooling them into thinking it’s a real site, when really it’s not? You know, as John Kerry would say, “holding the carrot in front of the rabbit” (or something like that LOL).

I thought it was hysterical to read in the following paragraphs that al-Qaida has a ‘slick media production arm’ and they have ‘members only’ forums too (emphasis mine):

What if this site was really run by our CIA and this is where all those CIA-created audios of Osama bin Laden talking with an old picture of him on the screen? Hey, could be. Seems more likely. I doubt the Saudi royals give two shits about the jihadists, because really….15 of the 19 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia and the Saudis would be fine if America was blown to smithereens!

Did you know ‘al-Hesbah’ (there’s something weird about that name? What does it sound like?) is an ‘.org’? LOL Yep! They’re an .org (I wouldn’t click on it just incase Big Brother Al-Qaida Bush is watching), which means, they can write off this site on their taxes.   And isn’t it “strange” that ABC News advertises on it’s front page? I’m thinking back to their docudrama called, The Path to 9/11, that basically blamed Bill Clinton for 9/11. Yep, after working 9 months on the job, George Bush was not at fault for 9/11 at all. *rolling eyes* (I think MSNBC & CNN were thrown on this site to make it look good…notice how Fox News is not listed…seems like a right wing thing to do to leave out Fox, now doesn’t it? Yep.)

As usual, something doesn’t seem right about al-Qaida. Seems to me like it spends it’s days helping out the American Taliban (the republic party here in America), doesn’t it to you?

Sen. Susan Collins of Maine was fine with robo calling in 2007 and duping Mainers

Yes she was (and she still is so don’t let her fool ya!)Back in 2007, she started a calling campaign where one of her office/campaign members down in Washington, DC would “call” people in Maine to ask us to join in on a “live” discussion with Sen. Susan Collins. The taped messenger would then tell you to stay on the line as the “discussion was happening” to ask Collins a question.

But, guess what? You never got through to ask Collins a question! In fact, this scheme never allowed you to actually ask her a question, but rather, was an informercial where you could only listen to Collins talking about her positions and “taking questions” from the people in the “audience”.

It was a sham. Sen. Susan Collins’ office was duping Mainers back in 2007.

Neilius of Turn Maine Blue did a post on Sen. Susan Collins “live conference call” around the time it was happening, and said this:

Did ANY participants ask her a question that could remotely be construed as critical?  Controversial?  Not hardly.  In fact, one of the participants, a “small business owner” from old town, said something about how she noticed that Susan has been really “leaning to the left” lately – only to follow with a “question” about wanting to pay less taxes as a small business.  If there was ever something that anyone in the well-over-50%-of-the-state-that-is-blue-minded thought about Susan Collins, I can tell you that it WOULDN’T be “wow, she’s really been leaning to the left lately”.

I probably should have hung up 5 minutes into the call.  But I waited, tempted by the notion that perhaps this really WAS a live call, and perhaps I WOULD get a chance to ask MY question.  I listened for about 45 minutes.  One of the questioners at the end said something about how she had been on the call for 20 minutes, and it was at THAT point that I really knew that something wasn’t quite right.  I had been on the phone for over 40 minutes at that point, so clearly I would have been ahead of her in the questioning queue…unless questioners were “randomly” selected from the queue, as well.

And still, I waited.  It was announced that there would only be one more question, and this one was from Portland!  Could it be me?  I unmuted the phone, and got my notebook ready, took a deep breath.  But no, it wasn’t me, it was someone else asking yet another ridiculous “question” about how great Susan Collins is (not).  See, I can’t even bear to write it without qualifying it, the thought is just so ludicrous.

By the way, I also called Sen. Susan Collins office to find out what was going on (I had received one of the robo calls myself):

I called Susan Collins’ office today here in Maine to find out about these “live cold calling” calls that she’s making. I told Helena, who is one of her office support people, that I had also received a call like this at least a month ago and when I heard Collins’ recorded voice asking me to join in a live discussion, I ended up hanging up. After a few minutes after doing that I realized that was dumb to do, so I called the number back and I got a cell phone answering machine (it was a DC area phone number) that belonged to a young guy (could tell by his voice he was probably in his 20′s) and I asked her who this young guy was. She said she didn’t know. I said to Helena, “Don’t you think it’s a little weird that a guy with a cell phone in DC called my house and when I picked it up, it was a recorded voice of Susan Collins. Helena acted like she didn’t know why it was done like that.

By the way, Helena was very nice and patient with my questioning.

So, I tell Helena this and then I tell her that there are people online talking about how they’re also receiving these “random” calls from her office and I asked her these questions:

Are these calls actually live? (Helena said ‘yes’)

Where does Susan Collins do these “live conversations”? (Helena said they’re done in Collins’ office in DC)

How come only softball questions are asked of Susan and none are asked by those who oppose Susan? (Helena said, “If your question didn’t get through, then you can send her an email and she’ll personally answer it”.)

Would Susan be willing to videotape herself live when she’s doing these calls? (Dead air…no answer given directly to this question, but Helena did reiterate that if I have a question that needs to be addressed to please send it to Susan)

I said to Helena that there are some online who have received these calls and who are now believing that they’re pre-recorded “discussions” to make it look live, but really, it’s not and it’s just a way of advertising Susan’s issues etc. (Helena answered that they ‘are live’)

Does Susan Collins advertise that these calls are going to be taking place, so those who are not getting a call, can also participate? (Helena didn’t know)

Are any republicans in Maine complaining because they didn’t get through to ask her a question? (Helena only said that there have been calls asking about this ‘live cold calling’ and when I pushed further if it was republicans who were also complaining, she couldn’t say. She didn’t know)

I think this ‘live cold-calling’ by Susan Collins is a farce. Seems that way to me. Not surprised. She is not a moderate either, so why wouldn’t she deceive Mainers that she’s letting them listen in on a “live chat” so they can ask a question, when all the while it’s really a recorded session that is going on and she’s just duping the public one more time.

Sick and I’m tired of this kind of crap.

At the suggestion of several commenters in the thread, I have investigated the situation further. Here’s what I found out so far (all references to commenters refer to users at dailykos, where this conversation initiated):

First off, one of the commenters (blubryeyes) actually called the number that was listed in my caller ID, and found out that it belonged to “TeleTownHall” and “Constituent Town Hall Services”.

If you go to their websites, teletownhall.com and constituenttownhall.com, you’ll see that it sounds “legitimate” enough – a computer dialer calls thousands of numbers from the lists that are provided by their clients (in this case, presumably, Senator Collins), and callers are given a chance to join a conference call and queue up to ask a question (which I did).

Then (this is an important part), the call hosts can, through a web interface, see who is on the line, and who is waiting to ask a question. Assuming that this call actually happened “live” (there was never anything that happened that couldn’t have been pre-recorded), I have two guesses:

1. The questions WERE asked in-the-moment, but all of the questioners were selected based on party affiliation or their being, somehow, “known” entities to the Senator. In fact, Susan actually knew a couple of the questioners…how likely is it THAT was random?????

2. The questions were all prepared in advance, the questioners were all selected in advance, and all the rest of us who queued up for questioning never really had a chance to ask OUR (more probing) questions.

Furthermore, a whois lookup of ConstituentTownHall.com reveals that the registrant of the website (which was actually hidden for TeleTownHall.com) was Rodney A. Smith. A little more googling reveals that Rodney A. Smith is, surprise, surprise, one of the MAJOR Republican fundraisers, having been Finance Director for the RNC, NRSC, AND NRCC. How much more surprised you might be to find out that my research seemed to indicate that ALL of the politicians who have used this service, so far, have been Republicans!

It also sounds like Smith is your typical establishment consultant, having found ways to make hundreds of thousands of dollars off of his (republican) clients, for himself and members of his family. Read this interesting article by Jim Hightower: Hightower article

OR, could is possibly be that this Mr. Rodney A. Smith has devised a way to help Republicans do their campaigning under the guise of an “open, live town hall meeting” that is just grey enough so as to not make its intent (and it’s law-breaking (or, at a minimum, law-skirting) crystal clear?

Was this call paid for by campaign funds? By “official” funds? And maybe it’ll be just too difficult to prove exactly what happened behind-the-scenes last night.

Following the money, I think that the choice is obvious. How about you?

RUDY GUILIANI: Ronald Reagan was never tested by al-Qaida

Recently, Joe Biden made the statement that Barack Obama will be tested as the next President, as did John F. Kennedy, and even gave the impression the event will be so huge that we as a country might have to go to war…again.

Here’s part of what Joe Biden said (emphasis mine):

“Mark my words. Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy….The world is looking. We’re about to elect a brilliant 47-year old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don’t remember anything else I said. Watch, we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy. And he’s gonna have to make some really tough – I don’t know what the decision’s gonna be, but I promise you it will occur. As a student of history and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it’s gonna happen. I can give you at least four or five scenarios from where it might originate. And he’s gonna need help.”

Joe Biden went on to add that when this event happens the world is going to find out Barack Obama has a spine of steel.

So today I was taking a break from work sitting in my car listening to the Rush Limbaugh show. He had Rudy Guiliani on today and the two of them were talking about Joe Biden’s comment. At one point, Guiliani made the statement that Ronald Reagan had never been tested.

Here’s the conversation (emphasis mine) from Limbaugh’s site:

GIULIANI: I find the remark very puzzling. And exactly why he did it and what motivated it only Joe Biden can explain. I do know that if he’s predicting that the president he’s supporting is going to somehow motivate an attack on the United States, it would seem to me he’s doing it for a reason. I guess the reason is, the lack of experience that Senator Obama has. I think he went on to say, “Watch, we’re going to have an international crisis, a generated crisis to test the mettle of this guy.”

RUSH: Right.

GIULIANI: Well, I think it would be far better off to have a president that wouldn’t tempt people to want to test his mettle the way Joe Biden is talking about, and it is true that at least history records that that’s what happened with John Kennedy, that Khrushchev tested him and believed that he was flaunting and then went ahead and Cuban missile crisis, other things happened. But that didn’t happen with Ronald Reagan. No one tested John Kerry’s mettle. In fact, they released the hostages as he was being sworn in as president of the United States, if I recall correctly.

RUSH: Mr. Giuliani, do you realize how many times Bill Clinton was tested by Al-Qaeda, starting in 1993 through Mogadishu to the USS Cole, and every time Clinton was tested, he failed, and that’s why they tested Bush on 9/11.

GIULIANI: Yeah.

RUSH: And we haven’t been hit since.

Now, why wasn’t Ronald Reagan tested by al-Qaida? I know! Here’s what I think: Because during the Reagan Crazy years, Reagan & George H.W. Bush were busy overseeing the Iran/Contra scandal/death squads throughout those 8 years. Funny how Reagan & Bush Sr. never mentioned al-Qaida from 1980-1992 (Bush Sr. president from 1988-1992), which is so interesting, because those were the years al-Qaida was gaining strength, and it wasn’t until Bill Clinton kicked George H.W. Bush’s ass in the 1992 election that al-Qaida decided to come out of the woodwork to attack the World Trade Centers in 1993…around 30 days after Clinton took office.

Bill Clinton was the first U.S. President to say the words, “al-Qaida”. Yep, he was and isn’t it interesting that Osama bin Laden was the head of this group and it was George H.W. Bush, the bin Laden family, and the Saudi royals who were already in business with each other for years when Bush Sr. was VP and president…but yet….not one mention of this death squad until they bombed the WTCs in 1993 and it was mentioned by Clinton and not Bush Sr.

Was Bush Sr. pissed off for losing to Bill Clinton? Could be. Maybe this is why al-Qaida attacked us in 1993.

This is why I think al-Qaida is the base (al-Qaida means, “The Base” or foundation) of the Bush Family and Friends, Inc. And this is why Ronald Reagan was not tested by this death squad!

I know what you’re thinking. You’re wondering why al-Qaida tested George W. Bush’s resolve in 2001 aren’t you? Well, I’ll tell you what I think. During the 1990′s there was a group of Reagan Crazies/right wing think tankers calling themselves, the Project for the New American Century, and these assholes (in the current Bush Regime, such as, Dick Cheney) realized they could use al-Qaida in a way to get what they want by allowing them to attack our nation, so they (the American/Halliburton oil maggots) could get back into Iraq to steal this country’s oil (and to use Iraq as their own central front in endless wars in the Middle East)! And they did. They waited for the 11 year anniversary of the New World Order that George H. W. Bush gave on September 11, 1990 and sat back and allowed Americans to die on September 11, 2001.

U.S. Sen. Susan Collins is in line with Congresswoman Michele Bachmann statement against liberals, but is against McCain robo-calling in Maine

Sen. Susan Collins of Maine has issued a statement that she does not agree with the McCain campaign with the robo-calling they’ve been doing here spreading anti-Obama messages. Oh, but she does in her own little way agree with Congresswoman Michele Bachmann’s comments that liberals in Congress should be investigated in a Hitler-like fascism fashion. She would deny this though because right now Suzie-Q is hoping Mainers really do believe TOM ALLEN IS A MAFIA MOB BOSS!

Sen. Susan Collins wants you to believe that she would never stoop to robo-calling, because really, in her mind she believes she is a moderate and is better than this kind of thing, but yet, she’s done attack ad after attack ad against Tom Allen for months now and when Allen does an ad pointing out the truth of Collins’ voting record, Collins cries fowl! Spit. Can’t be a moderate when you’ve been voting for George Bush’s economic & foreign/domestic policies 55-80% of the time over the past 8 years! Oh, but apparently this is illegal to point out according to the Collins Mafia in Maine!

Interesting, because for the past 8 years Sen. Susan Collins has EMBRACED GEORGE BUSHITLER’S POLICIES and never spoke out when Americans were locked in cages 2 miles from where George Bush was standing giving a speech (and it’s still happening too!). Collins never once said it was anti-American to spy on American’s phone calls well before 9/11/01 as George did, and she never said it was anti-American to FIRE PEOPLE FROM THEIR JOBS FOR SPEAKING OUT AGAINST GEORGE BUSH. And what about recently when I spoke my mind on my blog about her affair with a married man in Tennessee whose wife had Alzheimer’s? Huh? Was it okay for her anti-American staff to redirect the link to that post in 2 different “Susan Collins Google Alerts” within 12-24 hours of it being posted, loading one of the links with a TROJAN that ended up infecting my computer, making it inoperable, and completely crashed my hard drive? Huh? SEN. SUSAN COLLINS IS ANTI-AMERICAN AND IS IN LINE WITH MICHELLE BACHMANN WHETHER SHE WANTS TO ADMIT IT OR NOT!

Moveon.org & Google ended up backing down, but that’s because they were up against the Collins Mafia of Maine! That’s right. It could have gotten real ugly. I wonder how many funerals would have come out of it? Huh. We’ll never know now.
