Joe Biden & Sarah Palin debate tonight…hold your laugher till later.

Posted by kayinmaine on October 2, 2008

Tonight is America’s biggest entertainment night of the year! That’s right….Joe Biden & Sarah Palin are going to be debating each other to show Americans who would be better served as the next vice president of the United States.

Caribou Barbie is coming to save us all! She’s on a mission!…

One thing I’ll be looking for is what Sarah Palin is wearing. If she’s not wearing a skin tight business suit like she always does and is instead wearing an over-sized sweater or something similar and her hair is down, then I’m going to assume she’s wired to an earpiece.

The final proof she’s wired will be how she answers the questions. If she’s suddenly a world scholar, it will be so freaking obvious, but if she says to Joe Biden, “Right back atcha babe” quite frequently throughout the night after he answers a question, then we’ll know she’s not wired. Pretty simple. Pay attention and be watching for this tonight.

Joe Biden will probably have a few gaffs himself tonight, but I don’t think they’ll be major. What he’s going to have a hard time with is not talking to Sarah as if she’s a 2nd grader….which is going to be tough for him! I mean, really, what we’ve already seen about Sarah Palin is she knows nothing outside the ‘foreign country’ of Alaska. Nothing! She knows nothing! Kind of scary, but I think what Gwen Ifill will do is ask Joe the questions first so Sarah will know what the hell is going on.

Speaking of Gwen Ifill, the right wingers are freaking that John McCain approved of her doing the debate tonight and they’re already saying if Palin does horrible tonight it will be Ifill’s fault and no one elses. Well, suck it up right wingers, because if I remember correctly, Barack Obama had to lower himself to the Evangelicals recently when he decided to join John McCain at Saddleback Church with Rick Warren on their turf! Yep, Barack is very liberal compared to those assholes, but yet, he didn’t feel threatened and wanted to share his beliefs with them. Rev. Rick Warren was FAIR in his questioning despite his own political views and it was John McCain who was the one playing the games that night!

Gwen Ifill is going to be a fine moderator tonight. She’s a pro and understands the American people would not be happy if she was partial. That said, Gwen may laugh out loud at some of Sarah’s answers, but then again, so won’t be the whole country! See?

SIDEBAR NOTE: Gwen Ifill broke her ankle a few nights ago at her home while she was carrying research material for tonight’s debate. Did Sarah Palin put a hex on Gwen after spending some time speaking in tongues and holding snakes in the air? Could be.

It’s going to be an interesting ‘debate’ tonight. All I’m wishing for is for Joe Biden to raise his voice to Hell-Raiser levels as he tells Americans about the last 8 years of the Bush Regime! I love it when he does this and wouldn’t it be beautiful if Sarah Palin nods in agreement as he does?  😉  He can raise his voice, of course…as long as he’s not doing it directly to Sarah Palin. Yes, I know, it’s sexist, but then again, we’ve been told by the McCain campaign everyone must treat Sarah as if she’s the smartest person in the room and we’re not allowed to point out she’s not. Sad really. Sarah’s presence on our nation’s stage so far has knocked back the women’s movement by at least a century. I’m honestly not looking forward to her being in the White House. Hell, I want neither she nor McCain in there because there will be NO women’s movement after they’re done with it! Gawd.

What are you expecting to see and hear tonight? Not much or the funnies night of your life?  😆

A debate between Biden and Sarah Palin on foreign policy will be entertaining, especially if she keeps talking about “terrorists over there [abroad],” but I’m sure Palin will be pure comedy on domestic issues too.

Do you think she’s having her bikini line waxed for the debate? 😉

I think the Rove-Schmidt-McCain team WANTS us to have “lowered expectations” which reminds of the old MAD TV “dating service” skits they used to put on:

After all, the idiots Agnew, Quayle, and George W. Bush were foisted upon the voters by the RNC and they went for the bait and elected them. Desperate measures for a ticket that is desperate!

Love this Fox News segment and how the Fox reporter says the vote is nearly “split” in the cafe between McCain and Obama. Even the ONE guy in the back of the room who was putting up his hand had his wife pull it back down and then BOTH voted for Obama so the split was actually ZERO for McCain and unanimous for Obama!

Posting above blocked. Here’s another one about Todd and Sarah “Six-Pack”:

Todd and Sarah aren’t exactly in the poor house with a net worth of $1.2 million. While she is far from being $100 MILLION PLUS wealthy like John (and CINDY) McCain, she is more in league with Joe Biden when it comes to personal finances and Biden has had 30 more years to accumulate his wealth.

One measure of financial health: While there is a home loan, Palin reported no personal credit card debt on her most recent financial report as Alaska governor. That compares with average household credit card debt among Americans of $9,840 last year.

The Palins’ total income last year was split almost evenly between Sarah Palin’s white-collar job and her husband’s blue-collar work. Sarah Palin’s salary as governor was $125,000; Todd Palin took in $46,790 as a part-time oil production operator for BP Alaska in Prudhoe Bay, plus $46,265 in commercial fishing income and $10,500 in Iron Dog snowmachine race winnings.

These figures do not include nearly $17,000 in per diem payments Palin received for 312 nights spent in her own Wasilla home after she was elected governor; she also has received $43,490 to cover travel costs for her husband and children. But didn’t she SELL the plane (for a loss?). They have owned a float plane for 20 years to get to two other recreational properties they own, albeit not in league with the McCains who own a small jet plane to get to their NINE properties.

In addition, each member of the Palin family received $1,654 in state oil royalties paid to all Alaskans.

No wonder that family is still breeding!

Why not question that the moderator, Gwen Ifill, of the upcoming Biden-Palin debate is pro-Obama. She wrote a book that praises Obama, obviously she will try her best to make Palin look bad in the debate Why couldn’t the moderator be more fair and bi-partisan?

Why not make fun of Joe Biden, who thinks FDR was President in 1929, and thinks paying more taxes is patriotic?

    Equality….why not go f**k yourself?

Gwen Ifill is a professional journalist and will prove to be unbiased. Of course if poor Sarah screws up the repiglicans have an already made accuse for it.

Joe Biden thinks paying more taxes is patriotic…well of course for the elite 1% it is. Don’t you think those who have more should start paying more for the good of their country?

Sounds like our troll has just come from Michelle Malkin’s blog where she said, “She’s so far in the tank for the Democratic presidential candidate, her oxygen delivery line is running out.”

But Ifill shrugged off criticism of her upcoming book – which is prominently mentioned in her biography on the PBS Web site – saying she hasn’t even written the Obama chapter yet. It has been no secret that she has been writing a book that will include the chapter. But then maybe the McCain camp has been as out to lunch there as in the [NON] vetting of Sarah Palin.

“I’ve got a pretty long track record covering politics and news, so I’m not particularly worried that one-day blog chatter is going to destroy my reputation,” Ifill told the Associated Press. “The proof is in the pudding. They can watch the debate tomorrow night and make their own decisions about whether or not I’ve done my job.”

Of course, Johnny has flip-flopped already over Ifill.

McCain told Fox News Wednesday: “I think Gwen Ifill is a professional and I think she will do a completely objective job because she is a highly respected professional. I have confidence that Gwen Ifill will do a professional job.”

McCain reversed field Thursday morning on “Fox and Friends.” To stretch the hackneyed football-politics metaphor of playing the refs, Coach McCain just ran on the field.

“Frankly, I wish they had picked a moderator that isn’t writing a book favorable to Barack Obama. Let’s face it. But I have to have to have confidence that Gwen Ifill will handle this as the professional journalist that she is,” he said.

“Life isn’t fair, as I mentioned earlier in the program,” Johnny Mac said.

And IF Sarah falls flat on her face, they can blame Ifill and the MEDIA!!!

My last posting blocked and I didn’t even include the link, but John McCain praised Gwen Ifill yesterday on Fox News, calling her a PROFESSIONAL three times in a paragraph. Today, on Fox, he did his usual flip-flop and now thinks it was a bad idea but then Ifill’s book has not been a mystery for many months now and McCain agreed to the debate. Obama didn’t fear going into the Saddleback Church with its “CONE OF SILENCE” and its unrestrained audience of fundie believers.

The republicans are nothing but a bunch of whiners and after 8 years of their partisan politics and attacks, this “woe is me” play the victim crap is laughable at best.

  9. The Moderate said

Yes, tonight’s debate will be entertaining at the very least. Joe Biden, being one of our government’s biggest most long standing blowhards, verses the new comer, Sarah Pitbull Palin, who would probably have a man’s Sloan cut off if he got in her way.

Joe, don’t get to close to Sarah if she gets mad!

I saw a picture of McCandy arriving in St. Louis and she was wearing her hair down.

She looked almost human. Less like a low-class drag queen and more approachable.

But alas, when you have shit for brains and have a speaking voice like a Fargo hooker on helium, I guess McCandy thinks wearing her hair up makes her look more professional.

Through my White Noise Insanity email, I got this email from Richard Viguerie, Chairman of ConservativeHQ.com (he’s a well known conservative and someone or he himself put me on their mailing list):

We have two important news releases for you to read and comment on:

Selection of Gwen Ifill again shows that GOP is “the stupid party”

By agreeing to the selection of Gwen Ifill to moderate the vice presidential debate, despite her obvious conflict of interest regarding the presidential election, Republicans have shown why they are called “the stupid party,” Richard A. Viguerie, the Chairman of ConservativeHQ.com, said.

“How could the negotiators have signed off on a liberal moderator who has a book coming out on Inauguration Day heralding the ‘Age of Obama’?” Viguerie asked.
You can read the complete release and express your views online at

Bah hahahahaha! I thought this was hysterical.

Oh yes, The Moderate, Sarah Palin is a pitbull. *rolling eyes* If she is strong tonight and her hair is down, guaranteed she has an earpiece in her ear and is being talked to by 30 people via satellite! Hell, this woman can’t even think of the name of a national newspaper or a local one for crying out loud. There is nothing but a mouse running on a wheel in her head! 😆

Rev. Rick Warren who is a right wing Evangelical held a debate with Barack Obama in attendence! Yep. It was ole John McCain who was playing games the night of this debate and we all know Rev. Warren asked very good questions of both candidates (though, he did ask them differently to John McCain, but then again, McCain needed the help!).

  13. Grant in Texas said

This is almost too good to be true:

Last night on his radio show, conservative radio host Hugh Hewitt
asked Gov. Sarah Palin if she and her husband “ever faced tough
economic times.” Palin responded saying that her family struggled to get health insurance “until Todd and I both landed a couple of good union jobs.”

That should go over great with the union-hating Republicans but maybe they are so bamboozled by her “speaking in tongues” they don’t hear it!

  14. kayinmaine said

Union jobs? Bah hahahahahahahaha! Thanks for this, Grant. Hysterical. 😉

I am laughing already. She didn’t even answer the question about Wall Street and went right into her memorized talking points about “taxes” when the question wasn’t even about “taxes”. She is not answering the questions. Only parroting the talking points that have been poured into her brain to regurgitate.

  16. kayinmaine said

Wow! Just watched the debate and I have to say:

SARAH IS VERY GOOD AT REPEATING WHAT IS BEING SAID IN HER EARPIECE! This must have been what she was practicing for the past week: how to use the earpiece correctly.

  17. kayinmaine said

She did, Grant. Some were saying on CNN some of the camera shots showed a bulge on her back. Wired? One side of her hair was bulgier than the other too.
