Move over Rev. Wright…Sarah Palin has Stoll, Christ & Chryson supporting her!

Posted by kayinmaine on October 6, 2008

And we thought Rev. Wright was a problem for Barack Obama. Nope! Turns out, Sarah Palin a few years ago got most of her support from the likes of Steven Stoll, Mike Christ, and Mark Chryson! And for all we know, the guy in the picture above could be Todd Palin…Sarah’s husband!

Who are these 3 men? Well, let’s put it this way….you can use ‘militia’ and ‘right wing evangelical’ in the same sentence when describing these three! Yep, a group of 3 who long for blowing up stuff against those who don’t agree with their wacked right wing ideologies!

From Ornicus’ blog (emphasis mine):

According to Stein, Palin’s main base of support in that election (and subsequent Wasilla campaigns) was derived from her fellow congregants at Wasilla Bible Church and the larger evangelical Christian community. But it also included some of the Mat-Su Valley’s biggest far-right nutcases — to the extent that she even attempted to reciprocate by appointing one of them to the city’s planning commission.

The connection revolves mostly around three men known to have far-right leanings in the community: a builder named Steven Stoll, a computer repairman named Mark Chryson, and a third man named Mike Christ. All three subscribed to a bellicose, “Patriot” movement brand of politics — far-right libertarianism with a John Birch streak.

According to Stein, Steven Stoll — whose local nickname, according to Phil Munger, is “Black Helicopter Steve” — was involved in militia organizing in Wasilla the 1990s, and subscribed to most of the movement’s paranoid conspiracy theories: “The rumor was that he had wrapped his guns in plastic and buried them in his yard so he could get them after the New World Order took over.”

You read it right! Ole Sarah Palin, you know, the woman who is the current Governor of Alaska, who used to be part of the Alaskan Independent Party, and who is currently under investigation for abusing her power, WAS ALSO SUPPORTED BY RIGHT WING EVANGELICALS WHO FORMED A MILITIA FOR WHEN THE NEW WORLD ORDER CAME TO FRUITION!

Anyone thinking of David Koresh at the moment or Timothy McVeigh? Huh. It’s weird that I am, because really, Sarah likes to make herself out to be a hockey mom who is a good grammy to little Trig Palin and who freaking knits sweaters at night, when really, SHE’S CONNECTED TO THE REAL DOMESTIC TERRORISTS in Alaska and in our nation’s past!

‘God damn America’ is right! Here’s what Rev. Wright said about domestic terrorism…

I’d rather listen to this man speak, then have the likes of Sarah Palin and her ilk hiding in spider holes after forming a militia just waiting to jump out to start killing Americans! Very dangerous people and I’m not surprised they’re on Republican Senator John McCain’s ticket! It’s Americans such as George Bush, Sarah Palin, Steven Stoll, Mike Christ, and Mark Chryson who Rev. Wright speaks out against!

Yes, Sarah Palin is just full of it….she is just a big mouthed, no nothing mouth peice for McCain.
She is such pathetic excuse for a woman….charm, grace, poise, intellect…not to be found in this lady!!!
I doubt if she is even aware that she is a laughing stock with most Americans and a good many people around the world!!!!
The more I see her and McCain the more I loath them…..absoute embarassment to the country and do they care about the state of the country??????
The answer of course is NO….lets attack Barack Obama and to hell with what the country want and need….COUNTRY FIRST….what happened to that motto John?
Nov can’t come quick enough for me to see the back of these two useless excuses for human beings!!!

Carol, McCain is engulfed in the current economic situation our country finds itself in. Uncle Fester Lurks posted a great video that explains McCain’s connections to Savings & Loan scandals and today:

    http://www.keatingeconomics.com/

And does he care about this or our current state of affairs? Nope! He’s got his Alaskan Independence Party spokesperson on the campaign trail spreading lies against Barack Obama to keep Americans away from the truth!

They are soooooooooooooooo running for George Bush’s 3rd term. It’s not even funny at this point.

The whole world is rooting for a Barack Obama/Joe Biden win for good reason!

Thanks Kay for this superb editorial level piece concerning contrasts in individuals and the Reverend Wright’s admonition that it’s a time for “self-examination”…!

Good, decent, instrospective people everywhere would ascribe to self-examination, but rest assured power crazed, greedy “rethuglicans” and their followers will not, can not, nor have any interest in such pedestrian level spiritual inquiry!

They are greedy, avaricious mattoids, plain and simple!

Behold both McCain and Palin and you have two poster children for everything that’s wrong with the West, its failing paradigm and our nation and civilization in general… : |

You’re welcome, Carl. Just doing my part in spreading the TRUTH about Sarah “America Hater Inc.” Palin and her connections! Hey, someone has to do it.😉

By the way, I wouldn’t trust Sarah, her husband, or her friends with my dog. The End.

Awwwww, how cute. Sarah Palin was claiming today that the ‘black man raped her’ and in response one of the male members of the audience she was talking to said, “Kill him!”:

    http://voices.washingtonpost.com/the-trail/2008/10/06/in_fla_palin_goes_for_the_roug.html

America is broken and we have Sarah Palin, John McCain, George Bush, Dick Cheney, and the rest of the neocons to blame.

    Re: #5

Damn, wut an ugly “bioch”; ie., Palin in this supplied article link. Her eyes have a combo look of being both evil and lifeless at the same time. The “rethugs” really know how to dredge the “boddum” when they are looking for kindred spirits to support their dark plans for America!

If she lived in the South she’d no doubt be a respected member of the Invisible Empire; ie.,, the Klan…! She’d be their “Mistress of the Night” every night!

She best tone it down because if she starts inciting crowds to start shouting “kill” anyone especially if it’s her black opponent then it really is the responsibility of the Secret Service to detain her silly, stupid ass for some broom closet interrogation sessions!

This also unequivocally verifies as to what a lowlife McCain is: ie., that he and his handlers would encourage such a low metric from his running mate on the campaign trail.

    Askimet…Shades of a KKK lynching rally……

It got ugly in the stands too for journalists covering her event. Worse, Palin’s routine attacks on the media have begun to spill into ugliness. In Clearwater, arriving reporters were greeted with shouts and taunts by the crowd of about 3,000. Palin then went on to blame Katie Couric’s questions for her “less-than-successful interview with kinda mainstream media.” At that, Palin supporters turned on reporters in the press area, waving thunder sticks and shouting abuse. Others hurled obscenities at a camera crew. One Palin supporter shouted a racial epithet at an African American sound
man for a network and told him, “Sit down, boy.”

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/10/06/AR2008100602935.html

McCain was able to get a man to scream “terrorist” at his Albuquerque rally yesterday afternoon. Makes me shudder making an analogies of a KKK lynching rallies where somebody screams, “Get a rope!”

  8. kayinmaine said

The KKK is the president of the republic Party. Everyone knows this, Grant. LOL

Someone over on FDL called the Secret Service to report the incident. I think Sarah Palin should be arrested also for not responding when a male member of the audience said, “Kill him!”.

  9. Grant in Texas said

This is the response coming from Obama spokesman, Hari Sevugan:

Governor Palin’s comments, while offensive, are not surprising, given the McCain campaign’s statement that they would be launching Swift boat-like attacks in hopes of deflecting attention from the nation’s economic ills. In fact, the very newspaper story Governor Palin cited in hurling her shameless attack made clear that Senator Obama is not close to Bill Ayers, much less “pals,” and that he has strongly condemned the despicable acts Ayers committed 40 years ago, when Obama was eight. What’s clear is that John McCain and Sarah Palin would rather spend their time tearing down Barack Obama than laying out a plan to build up our economy.

The only problem with the above is that Palin’s and McCain’s riotous rhetoric has been played over-and-over on cable and networks news, essentially giving them FREE commercials. Obama’s response is only in some newspapers, probably at the bottom of page 19.

  10. Grant in Texas said

Ross Douthat at The Atlantic believes the McCain-Palin campaign are appealing to latent racism among the nation’s working-class whites, also believes that Ayers and Rev. Wright are legitimate topics to be discussed. (As if Hillary didn’t focus on them enough?)

The Ayers connection is completely fair game for the McCain campaign, as is the Jeremiah Wright connection: Both are windows into the political world Barack Obama moved in, and the “no enemies to the left” caution with which he navigated Chicago politics. I tend to think that both connections tell you a little more about Obama’s tendency to be accommodating, and to tack with the prevailing political winds which ever way they blow, than they do about his own innermost convictions – I think he’s more of a “go along, get along” guy than a crypto-socialist – but reasonable people can disagree on this point, and either way the connections are perfectly appropriate material for talking points, speeches and campaign ads. (And yes, by the same token, there’s nothing unfair or dirty about the Obama campaign raising some of McCain’s dubious past associations either.)

I have heard some criticism from talking heads however for Obama fighting back with the Keating Five scandal showing he will throw mud too. Some are concerned that Obama is being drawn into an ugly fight that will belittle his earlier pronouncements that he will lead a different kind of campaign…take the high road (but didn’t McCain PROMISE a clean campaign earlier?….before he started losing?). We have the history of Dukakis and Kerry NOT fighting back, ignoring blatant charges thinking they would just go away and both ended up losing in the end, and Kerry was ahead in the polls almost up to election day (also sandbagged by a “last minute Bin Laden tape”).

New post up on the subject, Grant. Thanks for the links!😉

  12. Grant in Texas said

It appears that most of the William Ayers stories originated in the British press including Rupert Murdoch’s Sunday Times as late as this last weekend. .

    http://blog.washingtonpost.com/fact-checker/2008/02/obamas_weatherman_connection.html

Obama did served on the eight-person anti-poverty education group Woods Fund Board along with Ayers between 1999 and 2002 and once accepted a $200 campaign donation from him when Obama was running for the Illinois legislature. Both Obama and Ayers live in Hyde Park, the township on Chicago’s southside which is home to the U. of Chicago. BTW, Ayers was NEVER convicted of any crime! Two Weathermen who were convicted however received pardons from President Clinton in 2001, yet Hillary brought up Ayers FIRST in one of her “kitchen sink” tirades.

Whatever his past, Ayers is now a respected member of the Chicago intelligentsia (English Professor U. of Illinois-Chicago), and still a member of the Woods Fund Board. The president of the Woods Fund, Deborah Harrington, said he had been selected for the board because of his solid academic credentials and “passion for social justice.”

“This whole connection is a stretch,” Harrington told me. “Barack was very well known in Chicago, and a highly respected legislator. It would be difficult to find people round here who never volunteered or contributed money to one of his campaigns.”

At first I was upset by Obama’s negativity. But these right wingers are such brazen LIARS that something has to be done.

    LOL:

Of course, nobody actually bothered to read said story.

Sounds just like the Lance Dutson situation. I guess right wing zombies are the same the world over.

Did they teach Dutson his tactics, or did Dutson teach them?

….. actually little children playing in their diapers does seem to be sort of natural,

the difference is the reality based community grew out of that ….. little lance and his mentally challenged ideological brothers and sisters seem stunted in that area of growth.

Sarah Palin is proving herself to be a despicable person….who is she to be pointing the finger of blame at anyone.
Isn’t she the one who has a pregnant unwed daughter..which she so proudly parades around….had a Pastor who believed in Witch craft and had the “laying of hands on Sarah”….is still under investigation in Alaska!!!
The fact of the matter is that this lady with the caustic mouth is only John McCain’s mouthpiece….their campaign is going down the tubes and this is the only way they can get the base fired up.
We now know that they have no substance….scared to address the issues of the economy….so attack Barack Obama is all they know.
Tonight’s debate will show who the REAL LEADER is…. one who can talk about all the issues and not avoid them….calm..intelligence..knowledgeable..and respectful.
Senator Obama will wipe the floor with McCain…the man has no crediblity…no sense of the issues and abslotuely no respect…..his honour went out the window a long time ago.
