Remember when John McCain & George Bush at cake while black Americans were drowning in their attics in New Orleans?

As our fellow Americans were drowning in their attics in New Orleans, George Bush & John McCain were sharing cake (Johnny’s birthday cake) and thinking about themselves only….
John McCain’s office issued a statement a few days after Katrina drowned & killed almost 2,000 Americans along the Gulf Coast:
U.S. Senator John McCain (R-AZ) today extends his condolences to the victims of Hurricane Katrina who are dealing with a natural disaster of epic proportions. “I urge Arizonans and all Americans to reach out to those affected by this tragedy. American citizens have proven time and again how generous and selfless a people we are, and now we have an opportunity to come to the aid of those in need. Our thoughts and prayers are with our fellow Americans as they struggle to cope with this emergency.”
Of course, on the same day he issued this statement on September 1, 2005, he also was concerned about spending too much money on cleaning up the Katrina ravaged areas along the Gulf Coast and said this…
“We also have to be concerned about future generations of Americans…We’re going to end up with the highest deficit, probably, in the history of this country.”
And guess when was the first time John McCain visited the Gulf Coast after Katrina hit & destroyed it? After 40 Senators before him made their way to the area, Johnny didn’t make it there until March of 2006. Nice, huh? I guess when it’s mainly black Americans who are killed by a hurricane, there is no need to rush to the scene. George Bush has this same attitude. And we wonder why there are some in this country who get the two mixed up all the time and sometimes will utter, “George McCain”, when talking about one of them!
See the difference in leadership between Barack Obama and the George Bush Twins? I do.
The following scenes did not effect George Bush or John McCain to take immediate action…
Or even this one…(and we wonder why John McCain’s current campaign is running KKK rallies instead!)
REMEMBER THIS WHEN YOU VOTE ON ELECTION DAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2008. Thank you.
