White Noise Insanity

Politicians…don’t piss down our backs and then tell us it’s raining!

Look who showed up to support Barack Obama in St. Louis yesterday…

Posted by kayinmaine on October 19, 2008

100,000 people! (I purposely used a Fox News link so you could check out the comments!)

(picture)

And look who showed up to say ‘thanks!’ to Rep. Michele Bachmann after she made the statement that members of Congress should be investigated to find out whether they’re pro-American or anti-American. He even said to Michele, “Michele, you have every right to focus on one group of Americans to start the process of eliminating them because they don’t agree with your political views! Heil Michele-itler! *clicking jackboots together*“…

bachmann is truly scary. She wants to investigate members of congress for anti-american views? How about starting with yourself!

and it appears there were around 175,000 people at that rally.

its too bad that change wont come to Maine this year…

One good thing about Michele Bachmann’s little tirade is she did the first investigation of a Congressperson RIGHT ON AMERICAN’S TELEVISIONS ON FRIDAY NIGHT! Thanks Michele! We’ve determined you hate America because you are against anyone who does not mimic the words you speak. Isn’t that what our Forefathers peeled away from England for? Religious persecution and no freedoms whatsoever?

    175,000, Chris? Wow!

Chris, I’m hoping the young people in Maine with cell phones who weren’t polled are the ones who bring Allen over the top. Hey, it could happen! Wouldn’t you and I laugh our asses off if it did?🙂

I think straight tickets might win Allen the Senate. If people just knew the difference in their voting records. I actually like Allen except for his vote to bail out the banks and not wanting to impeach bush and cheney. But that is a drop in the bucket compared to collins’ voting with DeLay and bush for so long. What kind of person could she be?

I see the Bangor and Brunswick, Maine papers have endorsed Obama.

With Sunday endorsements, Obama now has 104 national newspapers over McCain;s 32. Obama got the Hearst-owned Houston Chronicle, its first Democratic endorsement since Lyndon Johnson in 1964 (Nixon got their endorsement in 1960). The Austin American-Statesman also endorsed Obama, along with the College Station (home of conservative A&M) and Lufkin newspapers. However, the Hearst-owned San Antonio and Beaumont papers both endorsed McCain along with the Dallas paper and Panhandle newspapers (strong Republican country). The Scripps-owned Wichita Falls and Corpus Christi papers endorsed McCain even though the latter is a 2/3 Hispanic, a strong Democratic city but with the movers and shakers there being BIG OIL and the U.S. Navy.

Exactly Molly. Voting straight Democratic ticket year is a must and I have a feeling people will. I did.😉

Grant, the Bangor paper endorsing Allen is quite something considering that’s the district that ‘likes’ Susan Collins. But! That area of the state loves Congressman Mike Michaud (me too!), so maybe the Big Wave is really coming against the DC republicans? I hope so! I would love to say ‘bubbye Suzie-Q’!!!

Looks like John McCain is so hard up for money, he has even solicited the Russians for a donation! This after he trashed them over Georgia:
